This policy sets out the basis on which any personal data we collect from you, that you provide to us on our Website: www.drivecx.com, or that is provided to us by a subscriber to our services (under the brand name ‘DRIVE CX™), will be processed by us. Collection and Use of Personal Information

Information you give us. You may give us information about you by filling in forms on our site www.drivecx.com (our site) or by corresponding with us by phone, e-mail or otherwise. This includes information you provide when you register to use our site, subscribe to our service, participate in any discussion boards, forums or other social media functions on our site or enter a competition, promotion or survey and when you report a problem with our site. The information you give us may include:

  • Contact Information such as name, email address, mailing address, phone number

  • Billing Information such as credit card number and billing address.

  • Unique Identifiers such as user name, account number, password

  • Preferences Information such as product wish lists, order history, marketing preferences

  • Information about your business such as company name, company size, business type.

We also store the Content that you upload or provide to the Service in order to provide you with the features and functionality of the Service.  You may choose to stop receiving our newsletter or marketing emails by following the unsubscribe instructions included in these emails or you can contact us at support@drivecx.com

Information we receive from other sources. We may receive information about you from individuals or corporate entities which are subscribers to our service (‘Subscribers’) where you are to be designated a user of our service. We may receive information about you if you use any of the other websites we operate or the other services we provide. We are also working closely with third parties (including, for example, subcontractors in technical, payment and delivery services, advertising networks, analytics providers, search information providers, credit reference agencies) and may receive information about you from them, subject to your agreements with them.

Cookies and Other Tracking Technologies

We may use cookies, for example to keep track of your preferences and profile, for content personalization, analytics/performance, functional purposes, as well as the ability to access secure areas of our site. information. Cookies are also used to collect general usage and volume statistical information that does not include personal information.

Web beacons

Our Web pages contain electronic images known as Web beacons (sometimes called single-pixel gifs) and are used along with cookies to compile aggregated statistics to analyze how our site is used and may be used in some of our emails to let us know which emails and links have been opened by recipients. Technologies such as: cookies, beacons, tags and scripts are used by Drive Business Intelligence® Inc. and our marketing partners, affiliates, or analytics or online customer support service providers. We may receive reports based on the use of these technologies by these companies on an individual as well as aggregated basis.

Local Storage

We use Local Storage (LSs) such as HTML5 to store content information and preferences. Third parties with whom we partner to provide certain features on our site or to display advertising based upon your Web browsing activity use LSs such as HTML 5 to collect and store information. Various browsers may offer their own management tools for removing HTML5 LSOs.

Behavioural Targeting

We use Google AdSense to publish ads on this site. Information you give to us.  We will use this information:

  • to carry out our obligations arising from any contracts entered into between you and us or between a Subscriber and us and to provide you with the information, products and services that you or a Subscriber request from us;

  • to provide you with information about other goods and services we offer that are similar to those that you have already purchased or enquired about;

  • to provide you with information about goods or services we feel may interest you. If you are an existing customer, we will only contact you by electronic means (e-mail or SMS) with information about goods and services similar to those which were the subject of a previous sale or negotiations of a sale to you. If you are a new customer we will contact you by electronic means only if you have consented to this. If you do not want us to use your data in this way please do not tick the relevant box situated on the form on which we collect your data (the registration form);

  • to notify you about changes to our service;

  • Credit reference agencies for the purpose of assessing your credit score where this is a condition of us entering into a contract with you.

  • In the event that we sell or buy any business or assets, in which case we may disclose your personal data to the prospective seller or buyer of such business or assets.

  • If Drive Business Intelligence® Inc. or substantially all of its assets are acquired by a third party, in which case personal data held by it about its customers will be one of the transferred assets.

  • If we are under a duty to disclose or share your personal data in order to comply with any legal obligation, or in order to enforce or apply our terms and conditions of service and other agreements; or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Drive Business Intelligence Inc., our customers, or others. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organizations for the purposes of fraud protection and credit risk reduction.

  • If Drive Business Intelligence® Inc. is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of its assets, you will be notified via email and/or a prominent notice on our Web site of any change in ownership or uses of your personal information, as well as any choices you may have regarding your personal information.

Communicating with you

  • We may contact you directly or through a third-party service provider regarding products or services you have signed up or purchased from us, such as necessary to deliver transactional or service related communications. We may also contact you with offers for additional services we think you’ll find valuable if you give us consent, or where allowed based upon legitimate interests. You don’t need to provide consent as a condition to purchase our goods or services.

You may also update your subscription preferences with respect to receiving communications from us and/or our partners by signing into your account and visiting “Account Settings” page.

If we collect information from you in connection with a co-branded offer, it will be clear at the point of collection who is collecting the information and whose privacy policy applies. In addition, it will describe any choice options you have in regards to the use and/or sharing of your personal data with a co-branded partner, as well as how to exercise those options.

If you make use of a service that allows you to import contacts (ex. using email marketing services to send emails on your behalf), we will only use the contacts and any other personal information for the requested service. If you believe that anyone has provided us with your personal information and you would like to request that it be removed from our database, please contact us at support@drivecx.com.

Transfer of personal data abroad

If you utilize our Services from a country other than the country where our servers are located, your communications with us may result in transferring your personal data across international borders. Also, when you call us or initiate a chat, we may provide you with support from one of our global locations outside your country of origin. In these cases, your personal data is handled according to this Privacy Policy.

Google Checkout

If you choose to use Google Checkout to finalize and pay for your order, you will provide your credit card number directly to Google Checkout. Google’s privacy policy will apply to the information you provide on the Google Checkout Website.

 

PayPal

 

If you choose to use PayPal to finalize and pay for your order, you will provide your credit card number directly to PayPal. PayPal’s privacy policy will apply to the information you provide on the PayPal Website.

Third Party E-Commerce Solutions Provider

Our shopping cart is hosted by our e-commerce solutions provider. They host our ordering system and collect your billing information directly from you for the purpose of processing your order. This company does not use this information for any other purpose.

Referral Service

On our App website (app.drivecx.com) which is for Subscribers to our service and their users only, we offer a referral service. You can choose to provide us with the names and email addresses of individuals who you feel would be interested in learning more about our products and services in exchange for rewards. We send a preliminary email to each address provided to us in this way, inviting the contact to visit our website. We continue to store the contact details in order to track the success of our referral service, but no further communication with that individual will take place unless they contact us expressing interest in our products and services. The preliminary email allows the individual to request that their contact details be removed from our database and they may also contact us at any time at support@drivecx.com to make the same request.

Opt-Out Preferences

If you wish to subscribe to our newsletter(s), we will use your name and email address to send the newsletter to you. Out of respect for your privacy, you may choose to stop receiving our newsletter or marketing emails by following the unsubscribe instructions included in these emails, accessing the email preferences in your account settings page or you can contact us at support@drivecx.com.

Where We Store Your Personal Data

The data that we collect from you will be stored at a destination within either Canada or the United States. We will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this privacy policy.

All information you provide to us is stored on secure servers in a controlled environment with limited access. Any payment transactions will be encrypted using SSL technology. Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password which enables you to access certain parts of our site, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share a password with anyone.

While no transmission of information via the internet is completely secure, we take reasonable measures to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to our site; any transmission is at your own risk. Our website includes social media features, such as Facebook Like button — and widgets such as the Share button. These features may collect your IP address, which page you are visiting on our site, and may set a cookie to enable the feature to function properly. Usage of 3rd Party Services for Data Sources

Client uses third parties to gather End User’s data from financial institutions. By using our service, you grant our third-party provider the right, power, and authority to act on your behalf to access and transmit your personal and financial information from the relevant financial institution according to terms of our third-party provider’s privacy policy.

Our Web site offers publicly accessible blogs or community forums. You should be aware that any information you provide in these areas may be read, collected, and used by others who access them.

Compliance with ​respect​ ​to​ ​international​ ​data​ ​privacy

Drive Business Intelligence Inc. follows the principles of EU Safe Harbor and other Privacy domains. We don’t collect any data from users for our use, except during the payment process which is pretty typical for all web-based services. All other information including a user’s location, email and phone number are needed only for those users to run their business on our platform. For example, if they need to print their address, email and phone number on their proposals or invoices. Drive Business Intelligence Inc.  never uses information provided by our users and hence does not mandate users to provide any of that information. All PII and sensitive information are completely optional. Drive Business Intelligence Inc. does not provide any of our client data to third parties. Our policies clearly indicate that clients own their data and we never intend to use their information. We do make an exception to this policy and indicate clearly in our terms of use that we may be forced to share client data with law enforcement in accordance with appropriate legal procedures.

Data Protection Addendum

This Data Protection Addendum (DPA) forms part of the Drive Business Intelligence Inc. Terms of Use (“Principal Agreement”) between (i) Drive Business Intelligence Inc.  acting on its behalf and as agent for each Drive Business Intelligence Inc.  Affiliate, and (ii) Customer acting on its behalf and as agent for each Company Affiliate. The terms used in this Addendum shall have the meanings outlined in this Addendum.
